Katrina King made this beautiful shawl with our Wool Silk 2/18 yarn in Lilac.
Dawn has graciously offered to do some knitting for us. She started with this scarf made of our Green Line yarn in the color Pebble. Her daughter, Tally, loved it!
Here’s Aaron rocking Dawn’s Bulky Seed Stitch Scarf in our Presque Isle yarn.
Handwoven Spring Dots Scarves in Zephyr Wool-Silk (2/18) and Tencel from Meridith Entingh.
The design for these scarves was inspired by a friend who asked me to make a scarf for his wife to remind her of their lovely gardens. He wanted me to weave circles (or dots). The weave I chose is Summer and Winter. I was delighted to find that I could weave “dots” and stems that reminded me of vines with buds. Woven on a Tencel warp, what stands out the most is the wonderful soft colors of the Zephyr Wool-Silk (2/18) weft. Wearing these scarves reminds me of spring!
While in residence on Fogo Island, Newfoundland, master weaver, Claudia Brahms kept busy while “watching the massive icebergs float by.” She used a silk warp and Jagger Spun’s Super Lamb in 2/24 weight to weave this magnificent scarf. She’s heading back to the island this Summer and plans on weaving more spectacular pieces.
Our friend, Geraldine Soulier, made this gorgeous sweater out of our Super Lamb 4/8 for her niece who is pictured here wearing the gift. Geraldine had enough yarn left over to make a matching vest for her niece’s husband. Just beautiful handwork, Geraldine!
